Don’t know about you guys, but we are not missing the cold weather up north. Snow, blizzards, ice storms…why do we live here again? Oh yeah, I remember. Pacific Ocean, Sierra Madres, sand, surf, sunshine, need I go on?

What a week! We can’t say it enough! Get out there and enjoy the sunshine! Just this morning we went out to the beach with a cup of coffee and watched the dolphins! Yes, we work here and it is not always easy, but we LIVE here! There are people who have to save up all year to be able to enjoy this for a week or two.

The fair is over, the boats have been blessed and the rides are all packed away. Hopefully you were able to get out and enjoy the festivities. There were many food vendors, games, and shops set up for the Our Lady of Peace Festival.

You know how we are always telling everyone to go to the beach? To enjoy the weather and the sunshine?
We have been. We always have a big fire on New Year’s Eve and then have a few fires on the beach afterwards.
